RURAK CLUB LOVORNO

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR RURAL CLUB LOVORNO

 

1.
Rural Club Lovorno represents a touristic product which, being a special type of touristic offer enables guests to directly enjoy and participate in active holidays and to bond with the area and region they visit and reside.

2.
Rural Club Lovorno is based on active guest participation - active club member participation in rural type of living, agricultural work and care for grape vine and/or olive trees that come under club members "custody".

3.
Membership in Rural Club Lovorno is free of charge and voluntary.
Membership starts by accepting the Code of Conduct, i.e. from the day when members fill out Membership card on web sites or in person. Membership rights and duties become active and valid after accepting "custody". Rural Club Lovorno organizer informs in written form every club member about active membership after which they jointly determine the way of cooperation and guardianship over grape vine and/or olive trees.
Membership stops and expires on the day of voluntary suspension or in the case of unfulfilling membership duties stated in the article 10 of Code of Conduct during the period of two years or in the case that member disregard Code of Conduct.
In the case of membership suspension, all rights and obligations between the member and Rural Club Lovorno cease to apply.

4.
Rural Club Lovorno member status differs depending upon the active service in the Club.
In regard to Club loyalty, members are:
1. member trainee – up to two years of membership,
2. full member – from second until fourth year of membership,
3. loyal member – from fourth until seventh year of membership,
4. golden member – more then seven years of membership.
5.
Every member of Rural Club Lovorno has rights and obligations.

6.
Rural Club Lovorno member rights are as follows:
• the right to have "custody"over grapevine and/or olive trees and other agricultural products;
• the right to product with own internal Rural Club Lovorno label;
• the right to discounts for touristic and gastronomy services.

7.
The right to "custody" implies that Rural Club Lovorno member, in accordance to the agreement with the club and according to his/her own preferences, marks using a special sign appropriate number of seedlings of chosen crop. Club organizer will continuously provide care for these "custodial"seedlings, while guardian will take periodical care of them during the stay.

Club member is allowed to represent and promote his "custodial"seedlings as his own property. The number of seedlings/grapevines/olive trees will be directly agreed with the club member, having in mind that in the case of grapevines the "custodial" number can not be less then thirty and in the case of olive trees less then one and more then five.

8.
The right to the product with own internal club label means that every full club member has the right to buy off certain amount of produced products for use (oil, vine, etc.) from the plantation where seedlings or trees of Club member are situated.
The product will be marked with internal label of Rural Club Lovorno that contains title and other product information in accordance to club member wishes.
Redeemed product is ownership of club member and according to the club member wishes organizer is obligated to keep and store this product.
Number of stored products will be mutually agreed between club member and organizer.

9.
The right to discount and touristic services includes the right to discount for all services offered by Rural Club Lovorno Organizer with partners as follows:
• 5% after the first year of membership;
• 10% after the second year of membership;
• 15% after the fourth year of membership;
• 20% after the seventh year of membership.
Club member that associates new members acquires the right to extra discount of 5% on all services during the next club visit, but after newly associated club member engages in obligations stated in article 10, item 1.

10.
Club member obligations are:
1. to use services provided by club organizer at least once a year during the period of at least 7 days, starting from July 1st to August 31st, or during the period of at least three days considering the rest of the calendar year,
2. to provide care for plantations in the way of showing interest for plantation status during the calendar year,
3. to promote Rural Club Lovorno in appropriate way,
4. to associate at least one new club member during the period of three years.

11.
Rural Club Lovorno organizer obligations towards the club member are as follows:
1. to ensure club members certain number of grapevines and/or olive trees on plantation in Konavle that the member will become "guardian" of, and to mark them with the special label in cooperation and agreement with the club member.
2. To enable club member quality accommodation in rural area of Konavle,
3. To organize at least twice a year manifestation for all club members during the vintage and agricultural product processing or products sampling. Other events will also be organized as a part of manifestation which will last at least three consecutive days.
4. To enable club members individual stay in Konavle and to allow plantation tour and other activities during the stay or during the rest of calendar year,
5. To produce high quality products which club members will be able to buy off, and in agreement with club organizer, to pack and label them,
6. To storage necessary quantities of vine and/or olive oil for club member needs and to deliver them to club member address as required,
7. To inform club member about the status of grape vine and/or olive trees that he or she has taken under "custody"according to club member wishes,
8. To ensure club members extra discounts on products and services offered by club partners (accommodation, nutrition, horse – riding, safari, cycling, souvenirs, etc.),
9. To organize individual workshops on the topic of autochthon products and dishes.

12.
When applied for membership, club member accepts periodical information about activities and plans of Rural Club Lovorno as well as invitations to organized manifestations.

13.
Awarding of recognitions and expressions of gratitude to loyal and worthy club members, as well as joint planning of future activities, are organized at least once a year only as a part of product sampling manifestation, and especially vine tasting manifestation.

14.
Club organizer reserves the right to change Code of Conduct and is obligated in written form to inform club member about the changes.
